Congratulations to Dickson Preparatory STEAM Academy seventh grade reading and English teacher Mr. Jacob Krupitzer, who was recently recognized with the Teach Plus PA Teacher Leader Spotlight as part of Teach Plus PA's biweekly newsletter.
Mr. Krupitzer was celebrated for his contributions in the classroom and beyond. "Apart from conducting career exploration seminars, he leads sessions on supporting LGBTQIA+ students and creating inclusive environments," the publication wrote. "Since embarking on his teaching journey in 2012, Jacob has taught Spanish, software applications, and ELA classes."
Teach Plus PA also noted his status as an AmeriCorps alum, his work as the director of the Woodland Hills junior musical for several years, and more. Mr. Krupitzer was also named the first Woodland Hills School District Distinguished Educator of the Year in 2023.
